Here’s a quick walk through for setting up a Facebook Fundraiser on your page
1 – Go to Facebook and sign in. On your homepage there’s a blue bar at the top with a little arrow in the corner. Click the little arrow (it’s a triangle)
2 – A menu will pop down and about halfway down select “Create Fundraiser”
3 – Select the option for a non-profit.
4 – Type Currents New Media in the search bar, select our page from the options below, then press next.
5 – This is where you create your appeal for what is being supported and why you think it deserves to be supported. This should be from the heart, personal to your online community and also reflective of CURRENTS in general – a short, snappy appeal of why your community should help…
6 – A photo will load automatically from our FB page. The photo below is from last year. Our current image will load.
7 – When you hit “Create”, it will post automatically to your page, BUT you can also invite people individually to this fundraiser.
