This exhibition “Stitching and Weaving in the Digital Age” presents the many unexplored relationships between craft and technology and shows through the work of a group of artists, how contemporary art practice has seamlessly embraced both.

The artists behind the traveling workshop project Weaving to Code, Coding to Weave curate this international group exhibition. The show features glowing tapestries and robotic looms, offering unexpected perspectives on the links between technology and textiles.

Christa Sommerer and Laurent Mignonneau’s People on the Fly makes its U.S. debut at Art House, Santa Fe. In this 2016 interactive installation, the artists’ custom swarming algorithm attracts a virtual swarm of houseflies to a visitor’s captured image.
