CURRENTS sound artist, Matt McCorkle, tells us about his process from his New York City studio. He discusses how his background in recording live orchestral performance has influenced his field recordings–focusing not only on the individual sounds of each instrument or sound maker, but the atmospheric sound of the entire environment.
