Led by Manny Rettinger, guitarist/composer, this group of students and artists from yhr University of New Mexico perform on custom-built electronic and experimental instruments, made from every-day objects. Chuppers has performed in the UNM Lone Wolf Festival, Earwaves Experimental Music Festival and The Roost. Chupper - An evolutionary throwback. The chuppers in Philip K. Dick's novel "The Simulacra" are throwbacks to earlier human ancestors. Chuppers will perform at The Quasar Lounge opening night during Currents.
