Jackie Munro
Artist Bio
Jackie Munro is a filmmaker, photographer and educator working at the intersection of storytelling and community engagement. By empowering individuals to tell their own stories, her collaborative work looks at the root causes of social inequity and offers counter-narratives with the aim of changing the way we see the world. Her work has screened and been exhibited throughout the United States and abroad, most recently as a resident in the Santa Fe Art Institute’s Equal Justice Residency. She has worked with many mission-driven organizations in New Mexico and beyond, crafting documentary-based outreach campaigns that champion underrepresented narratives and empower individuals to advocate for equity.
