Jonathan Morse arrived at the Visual Studies Workshop entranced by the pearly seductive tones of traditional black-and- white photography, and left with an MFA in experimental photo-printmaking. A past recipient of the Massachusetts Arts and Humanities Foundation Photography Fellowship, his work is in numerous public collections including the Museum of Modern Art Photography Department and the New Mexico Art in Public Places. He has most recently taught Digital Imaging for Fine Art and Studio Practice at the Santa Fe Community College. Ann Landi, former arts writer for ARTnews and the Wall Street Journal, featured his work in the Under the Radar column for her arts site www.vasari21.com. His latest gallery shows were at Hulse/Warman Gallery in Taos. More than a decade of ink on paper can be seen at www.jmorseart.com.
