Jonathan Morse
Artist Bio
Jonathan Morse arrived at the Visual Studies Workshop entranced by the pearly seductive tones of traditional black-and-white photography, and left with an MFA in experimental photo-printmaking. A past recipient of the Massachusetts Arts and Humanities Foundation Photography Fellowship, his work is in numerous public collections including the Museum of Modern Art Photography Department, the Addison Gallery at Phillips Academy and New Mexico Art in Public Places. He has most recently taught Digital Imaging for Fine Art and Studio Practice at the Santa Fe Community College. This is his second year as a Currents New Media exhibitor and his first as a guest curator. Exhibit 208 in Albuquerque will feature his print work in August 2018.
