Artist Bio
Marco Buongiorno NardelliĀ is a composer, flutist and University Distinguished Research Professor in Physics, Chemistry and Composition at the University of North Texas, where he is a member of CEMI, the Center for Experimental Music and Intermedia, and iARTA, the Initiative for Advanced Research in Technology and the Arts, a Fellow of the American Physical Society and of the Institute of Physics, and a Parma Recordings artist. His music and installations have been premiered at numerous festivals in USA and Europe, including the international media arts exhibition CURRENTS in Santa Fe, NM; the Euroscience Open Forum in Toulouse (France); Trieste NEXT2018, in Trieste (Italy), and the Diffrazioni Multimedia Festival in Florence, Italy. Among his residencies: the Djerassi Resident Artist Program (2017), and IMeRA-PRISM in Marseille (France).
