VOSIS / Ryan McGee / in the El Museo Cultural theater.
VOSIS is an interactive image sonication interface that creates complex wavetables. Using a multi-touch screen to play image regions of unique frequency content rather than a linear scale of frequencies, it becomes a unique performance tool for experimental and visual music.

“We” is an interactive performance that deals with confrontation. Confrontation of the self and of the unknown. Allowing for two individuals to have an intimate moment through touch and reflection. This piece allows for someone to experience comforting him or her through illusion.

Burnish is a stand-alone art object and interactive performance piece. Inspired by elements of fire, flooding, and the desire to cleanse the heart.

Creative Coding for Artists

We are in a special era surrounded by numerous emerging technologies that can be applied to the creative practice to enrich creation or generate new ideas. The workshop is for artists and creatives who wants to use coding to make generative art, design, animation and typography. Code is a great tool to bridge art and mathematics, and extend the possibilities of creativity. Coding also becomes a more and more powerful tool for artists, designers, writers, activists for making art in a new way.
