Fulldome Program

Join us for an afternoon of immersive Fulldome videos created by artists from around the world.
Roadrunner Shuttle will be making hourly round trips between El Museo Cultural and IAIA beginning at 2:00.

This year’s Currents International Media Festival in the IAIA Digital Dome will have two parts, one student screening (2.30-2.50 pm; 4.15-4.40 pm) and one selected artists main screening (3-4 pm; 5-6 pm).

In Currents 2015 @ the IAIA Dome we have the unique possibility and pleasure to screen works from Electronic Arts and Experimental Video pioneers Steina and Woody Vasulka.

The Digital Dome at the Institute of American Indian Arts is a unique space to learn new applications for creative expression, scientific and technical exploration, and the merging of art and technology. It is also unique in the world as the only articulating dome which can move 90 degrees and be positioned in multiple locations for different viewing experiences. IAIA has joined the international fulldome consortium to link our programming and knowledge formation with others across the country and the world experimenting in ways in this immersive environment.
