Beyond bass and percussion
Master percussionist Tatsuya Nakatani and bassist Carlos Santistevan have been pushing the boundaries of their instruments since they first met nearly 20 years ago. Beginning in 2018, they have performed as a duo that transcends and reconceptualizes what a rhythm section can be. In addition to the duo, they also perform as a trio with Raven Chacon and have a LP with this trio from Other Minds due in the Summer of 2022
