In the wake of the success of the performance of Traces of the Imaginary (I), for the opening of CURRENTS 2024 by Marco Buongiorno Nardelli and Colin Stokes, we propose a production of a similar concert concept with the addition of live video by Alice Grishechenko, to create a live multi-sensory immersive experience for the audience. Interwoven in the fabric of one of the J.S. Bach Cello Suites, this performance will present recent works for cello and electronics that span a variety of modalities and esthetics, from immersive explorations of forms to minimalistic ambiances, from lyric embraces to ethereal flights.
