ALIAS2 is a performance where dance, sound, and visuals come together in real time. A dancer controls elements of the music and vocals through her movements tracked by infrared cameras in the piece, while her physicality turns tangible into an audible, expressive force. Simultaneously, 3D cameras capture and render the dancer in a live, evolving mesh to visually map every motion as a digital sculpture that shifts with the performance. This work epitomizes our vision for the fluidity and responsiveness of human presence with digital elements, offering a hint into what is possible for this emerging embodied audiovisual art.
