Vibrant Portal is an interactive video installation that has been inspired by the mystical doorways of the East, (Tibet, India, Egypt, etc.) where light pours in through elaborate grates and creates ornate glowing patterns. Our version is an enhanced new media homage to these ancient portals with a multilayered interactive environment affected by the viewer. Inspired by very contemporary writings including the latest interest in "vibrant matter", the political theory that everything is alive, interconnected, in process and pulsing with life, we are creating a vibrant immersive experience.
