#1 / F.E.A.R. (Fracture.Extension.Assassin.Retaliate.) is a collaborative dance and interactive media piece in four parts that merges live dance and motion tracking within the confines of a holographic cube. The cube is a 12’ x 12’ projection-based media surface that uses special fabric, lighting and projected content to create a holographic experience that surrounds Erin as she dances. The piece is both a literal and figurative take on being confined to your reality: fears and strengths alike. Erin fights to break free from the hold the cube has on her, while the cube tries its best to hold on tight, maintaining its grip on Erin’s reality to the end. A high energy immersive piece, F.E.A.R. invites the audience to view on all sides with 360-degree projections and vivid dance movement. At times, the cube is transparent/light - other times it is opaque/ominous.
