False Stage is the most recent surrealist theater piece by sibling AV performance art duo Oracle Plus. False Stage was born from a desire to initiate the current ingress of the planet Neptune into the sign of Aries; a once in a lifetime transit forecasted to catalyze new movements in the realms of art & cinema, spirituality and addiction. Oracle Plus explores the subconscious implications of this astrological event through a poetic-visual language of their own making. Drawing inspiration from psychoanalytical theories of addiction and consciousness, alongside esoteric teachings from the Western Occult Tradition, False Stage aims to bring the deep archetypal and emotional tensions of the current time into form in order to alchemize them through word, artifact, programmed video, sound collage and synchronized symbolic acts.
