Garbage Bag of Clocks
Single channel video capturing the notions of time and presence. We propose: that maybe we are not evil, maybe we are no different than earthquakes or wild animals. We believe: hope is evil and the enemy of change, death is universal, and our connections to each other, to emotions, to material items, to earth, and to life are impermanent. We question: where did the wild part go, whiskered and brave, falling like apples, stars or something spilled? We dream: that we are more than exactly what has happened. We are surprised: when time expands like a game of luck, even though everything is worn out and wrinkled. In our most recent project we are using our phones and bodies to record and create raw time stamps of presence, exhibited in three components.
