Ghost Sine
“Ghost Sine” is an interactive laser display that explores the relationship of shapes, motion and fractal patterns. Using ultraviolet projection onto a slow phosphor screen, motion acquires ghostly trails. Patterns of light and dark emerge that constantly refresh and fade in a spirograph of symmetry and photon decay, crystal structures, sacred geometries, and X-ray snowflakes. Organic forms are created from repeating shapes and symmetries that exist briefly, are overwritten, and discarded in favor of the next pattern. It is ever-changing, but not evolving.
