Hun Dun
This work plays out of the tension between form and the formless, making connections between seen and unseen forces in nature, an artistic reflection of my journey seeking connections between art, science, philosophy and the fundamental questions of human existence. The work creates a poetic, meditative and contemplative viewing experience, evoking the viewer’s aesthetic sensibilities and furthers one’s self-awareness. Hun Dun refers to a formless mass before creation in Chinese mythology, embodying the idea of an undifferentiated chaos.
