INHALE was choreographed after Iran’s 2022 Women, Life, Freedom movement, in the stillness that followed the storm. Amid suppressed revolutions, societal pressure and trauma often push people into numbness—physical, psychological, and philosophical. As filmmakers, we capture this quiet collapse: being pulled from life into isolation. Without words, our film explores loss, grief, and the human condition through contemporary dance, the power of the body in space, and a third-person camera that is distant yet present, reflecting constant observation.
