My work focuses on experimental animated shorts, which portray places that often depict a natural world in perdition.
With a performative intent, I make my videos using traditional drawings on paper, imposing certain technical constraints that encourage randomness and error. The animation is created by drawing each stage of the movement with a pencil on a single sheet of paper, which is then erased and redrawn to progressively create the action. The erased subject blurs the scenery in its path, leaving behind ghostly traces that are often ineffaceable.
