META: Mono-Embodied Topologies/Aggregation
The metaverse is one of the most uttered words in venture capital circles. Trillions are being spent to lay claim to this “embodied internet”-- the web 3.0 where spatial computing transforms humanity into synthetic analogue/digital hybrids. Yet, do we understand what it means to be embodied in space and time? This work records the user's embodiment--translational data and actions-- and plays this data back in a looping sequence as an “other” avatar in the virtual space. This data is saved to the cloud and becomes a node in a 3D space of all users. Every user is able to visit all other nodes, and subsequently each unique user’s recorded embodiment plays back to be moved through, felt, and interacted with. A social graph forms that is itself emergent as an ever expanding three dimensional structure in the virtual space.
