My name is Ana and I’m a love addict. All my life, I have been consumed by anxiety and trapped in a loop of rejecting the partners who want me and obsessing over the ones who don’t. In March 2020 the Covid19 pandemic severely hit NY and I was suddenly trapped in my apartment with myself.
This ignited a process of looking inward and creating a visual language to process my trauma around intimacy.
I exhaustively researched scientific journals to understand the neuropsychology of love.
I designed an anonymous survey with a data scientist to provide a safe space of expression and bring insight into the ways that people feel and perceive their intimacy according to their attachment style.
Through this interdisciplinary scrutinization of relationships, Neuromantic delves into dysfunctional relationships to highlight why healthy relationships are essential for our wellbeing.
