"One Sunday Afternoon" invites the viewer to enter a fantastical and bizarre painted world. Blue skies and green pastures serve as a backdrop to scenes of sunny afternoon bliss, where anthropomorphized plants and animals live and love in a world of heavenly utopia. But the vision is ephemeral – all goes dark at the appearance of a high-heeled spider donning a gas mask and her followers.
This project was created in response to "shelter in place" during COVID 19 pandemic to provide an immersive experience for the viewers from the comfort of their homes.
