Organising Principles of Experience is a project in which I collaborated with the AI model MayaAI_v6, tuned to the writings and sensibilities of experimental filmmaker Maya Deren, to imagine new films. The work explores memory, possession, and the digital afterlife, questioning what remains when the past becomes data and how an artist might lay claim to her absent hero. The film is meant to provoke debate about the ethics of digital resurrection. It is also a homage to an artist that is hugely influential yet mostly unknown to the general public.
