Primordial Flux
Primordial Flux is a mixed-media work consisting of two holograms embedded in glass and infused with drawings. It is a contemplation of the cyclical nature of life - that which comes into existence, and in time disperses. This work’s inexplicable narrative questions our perception of the obscure nature of phenomena, and what might exist beneath the surface that is unseen and unknown. In the creation of this holographic work, dried roots were illuminated with pure laser light and recorded into a light sensitive emulsion. The holograms are an echo of the original form, locked in time and shaped by light.
