"Solace" is about the necessity of grief, an ode to sadness. Different people cry in front of the camera and no explanationis given for their sorrow.
I wish to give the viewer an opportunity to feel compassion and experience the purifying feeling of crying.The viewer joins the people on the screen for a shared experience, having a cathartic moment and cleansing themselves from any sorrow they might be carrying.
