Building 1 / SYNESTHESIAC
SYNESTHESIAC is an interactive art installation by David Elias Delgado. A camera sends real-time video feed through a series of analog effect chains configured to respond to movement and sound. The output is broadcasted via projector, creating a hyper-interactive environment.
Participants who enter the interaction space will produce colorful visual effects with their physical movement and ambient sound, directly becoming part of the art. Inspired by the laws of nature, SYNESTHESIAC effectively functions as a scientific chaotic system, demonstrating the properties of chaos theory.
Ephemeral by design, the visuals rely on real-time interaction between light, shadow, movement, and sound to generate the image, which continuously evolves with the ongoing moment, highlighting the ever-fleeting manner in which we perceive time.
