Syzygies is the first iteration of a research-based video series that explores projective political dreams, their generative and transformative potential, and combines them with processes of emergence from the more-than-human world. It focuses on the experience of technologically infused everyday, rising social climates of control, dehumanization and technological entanglement. In dreams, critical faculties that are at play while awake are diminished – sometimes, things previously thought separate overlap, or virulent ambiences come to the surface in unexpected ways. Not an oracle, but a unconscious synthesis of facts and feelings, Syzygies asks if the future is feelable while still being unthinkable.
