Technolapse
I investigate the contrast between humans and our naturally artificial identity. My work materializes between those same contrasts, generating customized techniques for each project. I focus on capturing mechanisms with which technology transforms us, so that these processes become conscious.
Aesthetics play an important role, evolving and playing with the relationship between the symbolism of an aesthetic and its temporality. Various theorists influence my ideas; Werner Heisenberg explains how technological innovation alters our thinking, Francesca Alfano investigates mutant identities, Walter Benjamin shows how attention, art and play can liberate our plasticity, and artists; Vivian Cooper, Pierre Huygue, Pierre et Gilles.
My process is an undiagnosed disease. The work that I generate is the search for a cure.
