This is a series of 3D printed bells where each bell has been shaped by the sound of the previous bell in the series.
This recursive process consists of CAD modelling a bell, printing it in stainless steel, then ringing it and recording the sound.
The frequency spectrum of the audio recording is then used to modulate the shape mesh of the 3D CAD model of the next bell in the series.
Does the series vary forever, or lead to a bell that is the shape of its own sound ?
