A F-16 Warplane is transformed into a hummingbird. By changing warplanes into birds, these now autonomous beings, with their own habits and instincts, carry out rituals and tasks unique to their world. Their physiology is mechanical and includes missiles, bombs and other weapons that have melded into the bodies of these avians, becoming as natural to them as flight. However, their essence is born of the human culture that created them complete with all of its desires, needs and frailties. From their skins to their behavior they are uniquely suited to their environment, breeding and nesting, feeding and hunting for the petroleum that sustains them, ultimately calling into question our own behavior, consumption and its impact on the planet.
