The “Cryptochrome” series consists of multiple diffusion screens, 3D depth cameras and translucent LED displays. Interactive visuals wash across the face of these works as the viewer approaches each individual panel and enters the networked, virtual landscape of the series as a whole. This piece was made possible through a grant from the Judith McBean Foundation

The “Sense Column” series relates to the engagement distance of the individual and their room position in relation to a central light object. The works are interactive, incorporating sonic sensors which react to viewer proximity and LED arrays which explore color systems. The columns cycle through programs randomly, defining the evolving interaction throughout the day.
