Artist Bio
Angie Eng is an intermedia artist whose work spans conceptual art, socially engaged installations, sound research, and emerging technologies. A pioneer in live video and interdisciplinary performance, she creates work that investigate memory, place, architecture, and the psychogeography of communities. Exhibited internationally and honored with more than 50 awards, fellowships, and distinctions, her practice is driven by experimentation and cultural inquiry. She also writes about arts, housing, and culture, applying a historically attuned lens to questions of place and preservation. A certified Deep Listening facilitator, Angie teaches sound-based and contemplative arts in Sacramento, La Paz (Mexico), and now at the Santa Fe Art Institute. She holds a Ph.D. in Intermedia Arts, Writing & Performance.
