Artist Bio
Axl Le (Yi Le) (China/Norway) is a multimedia interdisciplinary visual artist and filmmaker. Using digital media as his primary artistic practice, his main forms of work include video/film, 3D animation, games, and artificial intelligence technology. His work addresses themes such as techno-criticism, exploration of self-identity, and science fiction. Axl’s work has been featured on platforms such as NOWNESS Asia, VideotageHK, Videoclub UK, CIFRA and Arte Tracks. He has exhibited his work in venues including Art Basel HK, Microclima Venezia, Siggraph, MAO Torino, CICA Museum, Tank Shanghai, and Himalayan Center Shanghai. Additionally, his films have garnered significant attention and awards at international animation film festivals.
