Artist Bio
Dwight Loop is an experimental video/multi-media and electronic music producer/performer in Santa Fe, NM. Loop’s audio and video productions have been performed in New Mexico at the Center for Contemporary Arts, Kimo Theater, IAIA Digital Dome, and Keller Hall, UNM; at Grace Cathedral (San Francisco); The Kitchen (NYC), New Music America Festival and the Brooklyn Arts Festival (New York).
Loop’s major multi-media creations include: CIRCUITS (I, II, III and IV) - multi-media experimental music theater at the Kimo Theater and Keller Hall in NM; video editor/music creation for “Space Between” and “Reverence” live light art performances at Cobalt Sun (Sausalito) and SOMArts (San Francisco) with Lumia artist Lynn Augstein - and video editor of Augstein’s “Borealis” DVD. Loop has also produced and directed multi-media/music/visual presentations with electronic musician Steve Roach, as well as Santa Fe cellist Michael Kott – CelloCosmos “Alien Concerto” at the IAIA Digital Dome in May, 2016. Loop has released four CDs with his trance-tribal-electronic music project Dream Jungle. He is also producer of “Earwaves” an electronic/new music radio program on SomaFM.com in the Bay Area, and a long-time host of the program on New Mexico public radio from 1979-94.
