Artist Bio
New York based multi-disciplinary artist Cwen charles creates site-specific, collaborative installations and performances for and with the camera. Performances are created for alternative spaces, inspired by daily moments and everyday objects. Combined with handcrafted, wearable props and sculptures, performances merge elements of reality, fantasy and absurdity. She completed her MFA with Transart Institute, Berlin, Germany and undergraduate studies at Parsons School of Design and The New School for Public Engagement. Her studio is in Montclair, NJ.
