Artist Bio
Hsuan-Kuang Hsieh is a Taiwanese artist currently based in Los Angeles. She works in experimental film, projection, performance, and installation. Informed by her background in theater, Hsieh approaches space, time, and viewers’ interaction with particular interest in embodied experience.
Rooted in personal memory and spatial exploration, Hsieh’s recent practice traces the emotional landscape of being far from home. Her work reflects on displacement, belonging, and the in-between spaces shaped by distance, translation, and cultural transition. Her projects often invite quiet participation and intimate interaction with viewers, turning ordinary spaces into sites of gentle discovery.
