Mana Mehrabian is an Iranian artist currently based in eastern Washington. She works in photography, video, and installation and creates works that explore the role of images in our communication and visual consciousness. Mana's work engages theories surrounding visual culture as well as ideas of self, identity, power, memory, and the body. Mana received her BA in Photography and MA in Art Research from The School of Art and Architecture at Azad University in Tehran and her MFA at Washington State University. Since then, she has exhibited her work internationally, while also participating in academic and curatorial projects.
