Artist Bio
Punto de Inflexión was formed in 2018 in México City by Stephanie García and Peter
Hay. The company has been awarded support from IBERESCENA, Prince Claus Fund,
the Mexican government, and presented work in Mexico, Peru, USA, Ireland, Cyprus,
and Spain. García is a multi-awarded Mexican multidisciplinary artist. Dance, film,
choreography, and, more recently, performance are the mediums García intervenes
in the reality of the audiences that witness her work. Hay is a visual, installation, and
conceptual artist whose artwork is woven from personal and universal narratives
based on curiosity about the 'natural world' how it became the way it is, and how we
are all part of it. In addition, they are co-directors of PROArtes México, a cultural
management initiative supporting contemporary Mexican art and artistic exchange.
