Artist Bio
Reilly Donovan ( born 1984 in Seattle, WA ) is a new media artist working with emerging technologies to create interactive installations, virtual reality artworks, augmented reality exhibits, mixed reality experiences, and machine learning experiments. From 2015 - present, Donovan exhibited nationally and internationally. Donovan collaborated with artist John Grade for a mixed reality installation at the Mystic Seaport Museum and the Anchorage Museum. In 2018, Donovan was an Artist in Residence at Pilchuck Glass School where he explored the intersection of glass and mixed reality using the Microsoft Hololens. In 2019, Donovan continued this exploration as an Artist in Residence at the Museum of Glass in Tacoma. In 2021 Donovan collaborated with artist Jacob Fennell to create an AI exhibit at the Museum of Museums in Seattle about the rise of an AI deity.
