Chris Jonas (video, composition, sax, vibraphone) is an internationally-recognized composer, immersive media artist, filmmaker and performer. Rob Lundberg (photography, video, composition, contrabass) is a composer, photographer, art programmer and academic. The two conceived of Displaced Horizons during Lundberg’s 2017 Water Rights residency at the Santa Fe Art Institute, where the two captured video of Cochiti dam and collaboratively transcribed the sound of the Rio Grande. Jonas and Lundberg have performed and exhibited musical, photographic, and video work internationally in a range of concert and gallery settings. The two have previously worked together on Jonas’ iterative multimedia project Garden.
Dylan McLaughin (videographer/live projections) uses film as a conduit for discourse and discovery in artistic practice.
