Artist Bio
Zoe Cohen is a 28-year-old video artist and writer based in Brooklyn. She holds a B.A. in philosophy from Oberlin College and an MPS from NYU’s ITP. Her art practice explores personal stories of womanhood, philosophy, and invisible disability in a cheeky and absurd tone. Blending organic sculptural forms, illustration, and technology, she draws from her experiences with her body, mind, and soul to prompt others to reflect on their own relationship with the Self.
With a background in philosophy, Zoe approaches form with openness and curiosity, unburdened by convention. Combining fine arts media with digital technology and physical computing, she makes projects that are engaging, thoughtful, and interactive.
