Artist Bio
Joan Stango is an artist and educator whose work has spanned the visual and performing arts. She currently works in printmaking and in mixed-media holographic works that combine drawings with holograms. Within the past 20 years she has also been involved in collaborative music projects, composing, performing, and recording original vocal works. Joan received a BFA in sculpture from the School of Visual Arts in New York City in 1980, followed by graduate work in sculpture and installation art at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque.
