Artist Bio
Julia Daser is an NYC-based artist working with data, electronics, and physical fabrication. Growing up in a post-truth era, where the power of science to shape public opinion has diminished, Julia makes science and technology more engaging to diverse and wide-ranging audiences. By breaking away from traditional data visualization techniques, she creates interactive, multi-sensory projects that communicate pressing humanitarian concerns through artistic and personal narratives. Julia has a particular interest in techno-feminist thought, active participatory civic engagement, and social justice.
