Students and Staff at El Camino Real Academy (Kenton Sallee)
Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA
El Camino Real Academy is a public charter school in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The high school technology class has included 3D graphics instruction over the last 2 years. While learning the mathematics and tools used in 3D graphics, the students create their own designs. This mix of technology, mathematics and creativity helps the students take the abstract concepts learned in more traditional classes and apply them toward a creative and self-expressive goal.
Kenton Sallee is the technology coordinator at El Camino Real Academy. He is also a visiting instructor for the STEM program at the school. He has a bachelor’s degree in computer science and has worked in many industries, specializing in software development and systems administration.
