Artist Bio
Sean O’Donnell is a digital media developer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He collaborates with artists to apply computer languages and he designs software for custom audio/visual experiments. His contribution to “Totem" consists of interpreting the artist’s vision into hundreds of instructions for Processing, which is a programming environment for creating new media art. Additionally, Sean is working on auto-generating scores to aid music education as well as composing music derived from seismic waves that have been transposed to human-audible levels. Sean has a BA in English from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and an Educational Technology MS from Philadelphia University. In the Spring of 2014, he earned a Masters Certificate in Music Theory, Harmony and Ear Training from Berklee College of Music.
