Whereas some artists spend an entire lifetime working in one medium or discipline, Stryder is devoted to exploring the menu. What usually motivates him to pivot is an urge for balance. Drawing, printmaking and ceramics, were succeeded by painting, woodwork, tv and video production. Modern dance, fashion design and writing, gave way to sculpture, filmmaking and new media.
