Forester's academic and first work background is neurobiology, Weissinger did religious studies and art history, worked in cultural institutions and as a journalist writing about architecture.
Since the middle of the 1990s the two worked together in the field of architectural projection (now called mapping), multimedia art and light scenography on an international level. Their recent work in progress "Digital Decalcomania" is dedicated to the creation of 3D bodies and topographies, comprising a special synesthetic approach on the visualization of sound. This core material comes to performance and into fine art works in a broad variety of media settings and formats.
